Beautification Day at La Casita Verde on May 1st. Part of “Big Sunday” weekend.
April’s monthly clean up will be Saturday, April 10th. Meeting at La Tropicana on the corner of Avenue 52 and Monte Vista. Clean up starts at 8:30, but, as usual, everyone is welcome to come a bit early.
We went to this last year and the kids had fun running around and enjoying the sunshine!

It’s been awhile since our last neighborhood clean up that went up into the hills. I was thinking tomorrow we can start from La Tropicana Market and go up Avenue 52, right on Aldama, Right on Avenue 54, then right on Monte Vista, ending up back at La Tropicana Market. The 3rd Annual Peace in the Northeast March will be taking place Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 10 am. Last year’s was a really great event. More details to come.
The rescheduled neighborhood clean up will be tomorrow, Saturday, February 13th. We will be meeting at La Tropicana Market (corner of Avenue 52 and Monte Vista) at 8 am for juice and coffee, followed by the clean up around 8:30. Please bring gloves and trash bags for yourself.
